Last Saturday I got to photograph a beautiful newborn girl. We went to her grandparents' home for the majority of the shoot, which turned out to be more amazing than I ever imagined. The home was filled with items that had been passed down from generation to generation, and we got to use some of them in the shoot. In this first image, the baby is wrapped in antique lace made by her great great great grandmother.
In this next image, she is holding her grandmother's pearls.
In this shot, she is laying on the lace in front of the fireplace with some feathers that her mother wore in her hair on her wedding day.
And here she is in her great grandfather's Stetson hat.
At the end of the shoot, we went back to the baby's nursery to include some more history. Hanging in the armoire are dresses that she, her mother, and her aunt wore home from the hospital when they were newborns.
Lastly, here is a shot of her holding her mom and dad's fingers. She was such a sweet, beautiful baby. I can't wait to see her as she grows up!
