Hats

I was recently gifted some wonderful knit hats by extended family members. They are great in pictures and offer wonderful color and texture. I decided to use them for my photoshoot with my daughter on her 5th birthday. Plus, with the temperature reaching a high of 14 degrees today, the hats are very useful!

Adorable in argyle

While in Virginia for Christmas, I got to photograph my cute 8-month-old nephew. We went to old-town Winchester for some great brick and wood backdrops. Even though it was quite chilly, he was a great sport. And don't you just love that sweater?

Two-year-old grown-up

On Saturday I got to photograph this beautiful boy who had just turned two. His mom wanted to capture him at this age so she could record how different he looked than when he was one. Even I am amazed at how grown-up he looks in these portraits! Childhood goes so fast, and I'm so glad that we are able to preserve these memories.
