A really exciting trip

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. I actually have a bunch of pictures to post, but I've been so busy that I haven't had time to do it. And now, I'm leaving on a very exciting trip! I'll tell you all about it when I get back!

The Mrs. Colorado Pageant

On Saturday I got to attend the Mrs. Colorado Pageant held at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in downtown Denver. I did some of the official portraits for one of the contestants, Valentina Anderson. She had me make up some ads with the pictures to be included in the Mrs. Colorado book that was available the night of the pageant. They turned out so well! Valentina didn't win, but she was so gorgeous and poised, and I'm so proud of her! Here are two of the ads I created for her:

The colors of spring {Denver family photographer}

Well, it's supposed to be spring here in Denver--not that you'd know it with all the snow and everything. But before the last big snowstorm hit, I had a great session with this fun family. I love the fresh, bold colors they picked for their shoot. I also think it's so fun to see how much kids look like their parents. The oldest daughter looks just like the mom (and get a load of those EYES!) and the youngest looks just like the dad (sans the facial hair, of course :)

Bundle of cuteness redux {Denver baby photographer}

Do you remember this little guy? Too cute for words. I didn't think it was possible, but...

...he's gotten even cuter! This is him in the same basket, but he's 3 months old now.

We did some on a black blanket. We put a boppy underneath to try to assist him in getting his head up. It mostly did not work. This next picture cracks me up.

He spent most of his time turning his head from side to side and licking the blanket. I told his mom he was going to get a hairball! (It was one of those fuzzy blankets). He finally popped his head up--just once, but we got it!
