June bloom {Denver Family Photographer}

Last Saturday, I got to photograph a beautiful family right in the middle of glorious blooming flowers. The colors everywhere were amazing, and the family has the most beautiful porcelain skin. We had a wonderful time together, and I think the dad even enjoyed himself :) I asked if he had been dragged to the shoot or if he came of his own free will. Like almost all men, he had been dragged, but in the end, he admitted that it hadn't been so bad :) Look at these BEAUTIFUL people!

Last chance to win!

Name the country where this picture was taken. Winner will be announced on Monday!

Two chances to win today!

Time's up! The first one is the back of Notre Dame in Paris, and the second one is Paris at sunset.

Since I missed posting a picture yesterday, I'm posting two today. I'll post one more tomorrow, and then announce a winner on Monday! Good luck!

For the first picture, name the country where this building is located, and the name of the building for a second entry.

For this picture, name the city.

Try this one!

Time's up! It's the Netherlands!

All you have to do is name the country where this picture was taken. Good luck!

Where in the world?

Time's up! It's Westminster Abbey in London, England!

If you ever go to England, this is an absolute must-see. I had no idea it was so incredible. I wasn't allowed to take pictures inside, but that's where the real magic is. It is well worth the price of admission.

For today, name the country and the name of the building pictured below.

This one is really hard!

Time's up! It's weinerschnitzel in Germany!

If you are like me, you thought weinerschnitzel was a hot dog! I was surprised to find out that it is a cut of breaded, fried pork, served plain or with a variety of sauces. It was delicious!

You all are too smart! A lot of people guessed the last picture (I'm also doing this contest on Facebook) so I have a real doozy for you today. Guess the name of this dish and the country we were in while we were eating it. Good luck!

Guess what this picture is.

Time's up! The answer is The London Eye!

I've posted more pictures of this landmark below!

Since yesterday's was so easy, I had to do something much more difficult today. One entry for the right country, one entry for the name of the structure. Good luck!

Win a free session and 11x14 print!

Time's up! It is the Eiffel Tower in Paris! Scroll down for more pictures of this iconic landmark!

There are still more chances to win! Just keep guessing for the pictures each day.

So I was thinking that I should make it fun for everyone to see my pictures from Europe. So I'm having a "name that picture" contest, and the winner will get a free session and 11x14 print! Here's how it works: Every day I'll be posting a picture from our trip. Your job is to guess where the picture was taken. If it's a picture of a famous monument or building, you get an extra entry for naming that as well. When I run out of pictures to post, I'll collect all the correct responses and draw a winner! You can enter once for each picture, and you only have one day to do it, so check back every day for a new chance to win! (To make it easier, I'll tell you that we only went England (London), France (Paris), Belgium (Brussels), Germany, and the Netherlands (Amsterdam and a small town called Maastricht).

Here's the first picture. You get one entry for correctly naming the country, and one entry for correctly naming the monument. Good luck!

Europe!

Hello! My husband and I are back from our wonderful trip to Europe! We went for our ten-year anniversary and had an incredible experience. We went to London, Paris, Maastricht (in the Netherlands) northern Germany, Amsterdam, and Brussels. I'll be posting a favorite picture from our trip every day on this blog until I run out of favorite pictures. So check back often!
